Seats available for steakhouse bus trip

Osage County Senior Center News

Submitted by Byron Jordan, Director

The Osage County Senior Center will be the site for the annual Senior Resource Fair on April 25. The Osage City Chamber of Commerce will have a light breakfast fundraiser to start off the morning, which will be followed by the resource fair, with several local vendors providing information, health screenings, and samples.

Transportation services will be made available to bring Osage County residents to the resource fair that day, with special rates for those folks staying for lunch at the nutrition site. Over the years this has been a very popular event and it is believed that it will continue to be worthwhile for all those who attend. More details will be provided over the next few weeks.

There are still several seats left for the April 3, Wednesday evening bus trip to Three Fires Steakhouse, near Mayetta. Their “buy one entree – get one free” is a great deal for couples, friends and relatives signing up in pairs, or you can always take one entree to go. The order will be called in before the bus leaves, so please pick up a copy of the menu when you sign up.

For more information, call 785-528-4906, visit the center at 604 Market St., Osage City, or see the senior center’s web page.
