Osage County court incarcerates three

Three men were sentenced to jail or state prison today on unrelated cases in Osage County District Court.

Ryan Davidson, 29, Burlingame, was sentenced to serve one year in the Osage County Jail. Davidson was convicted of felony driving under the influence third offense, on March 31, 2014, for an incident that occurred on Nov. 10, 2013. Davidson was also on probation on three separate and unrelated Osage County cases at the time of his arrest for the new DUI offense. The other cases involved convictions for DUI, domestic battery, battery, and violation of a protective order. Probation was revoked in all three cases and he will serve the jail sentences imposed in those cases concurrently to his new felony DUI case.

Gary A. Lee, 54, Leavenworth, was sentenced to serve 40 months in the custody of Kansas Department of Corrections. Lee was convicted in May 2013 of possession of methamphetamine, but failed to appear for sentencing after being arrested in Leavenworth County on unrelated charges. Lee was arrested in Osage County in on Feb. 6, 2013.

Gary G. Calhoon Jr., 45, Kansas City, Kan., was sentenced today in Osage County District Court to serve 20 months in the custody of Kansas Department of Corrections. Calhoon was convicted of non-residential burglary for breaking into a building at an old salvage yard in Osage City on Oct. 28, 2013, and stealing numerous items.
