KDOT to reopen two rest areas May 19

By mid-morning on Monday, May 19, the Kansas Department of Transportation plans to reopen two rest areas in southeastern Kansas to the traveling public.

The rest areas are located on U.S. 75 north of Yates Center and on U.S.54 in the Toronto vicinity. Both rest areas have been closed since April 1 while KDOT secured cleaning services for the facilities.
