Osage City requests citizens to notify BNSF of railroad crossing condition


The City of Osage City would like to notify citizens of our community to please call the BNSF’s 24-hour Resource Operations Center to report the worsening condition of the railroad crossing at 6th and Lakin Streets in Osage City.

BNSF has posted an emergency contact number at all public grade crossings for the public’s use in contacting BNSF’s 24-hour Resource Operations Center with concerns regarding crossings or related questions (800-832-5452). Simply call the number and provide them with the Department of Transportation (DOT) identification number MP 84.93 that pinpoints that location.
