‘Celebrate lake fever’ during the Osage County Fair parade at Osage City

OSAGE CITY – The Osage City Chamber of Commerce has announced the Osage County Fair parade will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 26 with “Celebrate Lake Fever” themed floats, bands, tractors, cars, and horses. The theme was selected in recognition of Pomona Lake’s 50th anniversary.

Lineup will begin at 6:30 p.m. on west Market Street. Floats to be judged should line up by 6:15 near Flint Hills Beverage located on west Market Street. Parade entrants are asked to not block  driveways during line up.

The first place float will earn a $100 award, second place will receive $75, third place wins $50 and fourth place $25.
