Flint Hills Technical College conferred four high school diplomas, 36 technical certificates, and 47 associate of applied science degrees at its winter commencement ceremony on Dec. 16, 2016. The college also pinned 20 students at the nurse’s pinning ceremony earlier in the day. Students honored from the Osage County area include:
In the Division of Information Technology, Chelsy Lynn Hardin, Osage City, was awarded an Associate of Applied Science degree in business administrative technology; and earning a technical certificate in business administrative technology was Cassandra Lyn Reuelle, of Topeka.
In the Division of Technology, Shawn Junior Black, Vassar, earned a technical certificate in industrial engineering technology; and Kyle Eugene Garrison, Overbrook, earned a technical certificate in power plant technology.
Earning Associate of Applied Science degrees in the Division of Technology power plant technology program were Ethan Charles Michael, Osage City, Curtis A. Musgrave, Carbondale, who graduated with honors, and Paden D.M. Kirklen Roberts, Osage City.
