Richard ‘Rick’ L. Antisdel, 74, Lyndon: July 23, 1946 – Nov. 16, 2020

LYNDON, Kan. – Richard “Rick” Antisdel, 74, passed away on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, at his home east of Lyndon, Kan. He was born July 23, 1946, in Omaha, Neb., the son of Robert and Bonnie Peckenpaugh Antisdel.

Rick grew up around Louisburg, Kan., and had lived east of Lyndon since 1997.

Rick served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1972. He worked as a salesman in the sod harvesting equipment industry for more than 20 years. He was a member of the Euclid Lodge No. 101 A.F.&A.M., American Legion Post 125, VFW Post 6406, and the First Baptist Church, all of Lyndon.

On June 30, 2001, Rick was married to Carol Retzer, on their farm.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Robert.

Rick is survived by his wife, Carol Retzer, of the home; his five children, Shannon Abrahamson, Lawrence, Kan., Summer (Donnie) Wright, Collinsville, Ala., Easter (Greg) Weiss, Bologna, Italy, Aubrey Ray, Charlotte, N.C., and Noah Antisdel, Colorado Springs, Colo.; four stepchildren, Joe (Nikki) Dekat, Ottawa, Kan., Carli (Jeff) Progin, Lewisberry, Penn., Steve (Kim) Dekat, Olathe, Kan., and Katy (Curt) Miller, Andover, Kan.; three brothers, Monte Antisdel and Kirby Antisdel, both of Des Moines, Iowa, and Todd Antisdel, Louisburg; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
