Osage County Emergency Management has issued a burn ban for all of Osage County for today, Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021, due to forecast very high fire danger. No outside burning is allowed, and all burn permits are suspended. The ban will be in effect for 24 hours, but could be extended depending on weather conditions.

Wind gusts are expected to be as high as 40 mph this afternoon, resulting in very high fire danger.
