Azariah James Walthall, 30, Topeka: Dec. 26, 1990 – March 11, 2021

TOPEKA, Kan. – Azariah James Walthall, 30, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021, at his home in Topeka, Kan. He was born Dec. 26, 1990, in Joplin, Mo., the son of Robert and Gayle Parsons Walthall.

Azariah lived in Neosho, Mo., until age six, and then moved with his family to Carbondale, Kan. He had lived in Topeka for the last several years. Azariah graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School in 2009, and had worked at Target Distribution, in Topeka, as a manager.

Azariah is survived by Krissy Terry and his daughter, Jocelyn Gayle Walthall, of the home; his parents, Robert and Gayle Walthall, Scranton, Kan.; sister, Christal Wallace, Nampa, Idaho; maternal grandparents, Jeanette and George Burgess, Neosho, and paternal grandparents, James and Cheryl Walthall, Joplin, Mo.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 20, at Feltner Funeral Chapel, Lyndon, Kan. Azariah will lie in state 4-6:30 p.m. Friday, March 19, and the family will receive friends 6:30-8 p.m. Cremation will follow the service.
