OSAGE COUNTY, Kan. – The Osage County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Missouri man Thursday as the result of an investigation into the online solicitation of a child by an adult.
In a press release, Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells reported the sheriff’s office criminal investigation unit arrested David E. Fresia, 49, Lee’s Summit, Mo., the afternoon of April 15, 2021, and alleged he had made plans to meet with someone he believed to be a minor.
The release did not indicate where Fresia was arrested, but said he was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Osage County Jail on suspicion of aggravated human trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation of a child, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of psilocybin with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no drug tax stamp.
