The Lyndon United Methodist Church is getting revved up for its 150th anniversary, with the ninth annual Get ‘Rev’d Up’ All Motor Show included as part of the church’s celebration. Registration for the show opens at 8:30 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Lyndon City Park. Everyone is invited to the park, where there will be a live band and DJ, along with breakfast, lunch and homemade ice cream, with all proceeds benefiting the church’s ministries.
In the motor show, awards will be presented to the top 15 along with 15 specialty awards. Registration is open until the day of the show, and entry forms are available at lyndonumc.org. In addition to the car show, Lyndon will also be revved up over garage sales Saturday, as the city hosts its annual citywide garages sales. Maps to local garage sales are available at the Lyndon Carnegie Library, 127 E. 6th St., which will serve as the city’s garage sale headquarters for the day.
