OSAGE CITY, Kan. – Emma Pauline (Masters) Dorr, 99, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021, at her home in Osage City, Kan. She was born Jan. 9, 1922, in Burlingame, Kan, the daughter of William and Jennie (Burns) Masters.
She had lived in Osage City since 1980. She had been a homemaker and had worked at Hallmark Cards, Osage City.
On December 23, 1941, Emma was united in marriage to Earl Dorr Jr., in Council Grove, Kan. To this union three children were born, Lyle, George and Gail.
Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, July 13, 2006; son, George Dorr, Jan. 29, 1965; four brothers, William Jr., Gilbert, Albert and Robert Masters; and three sisters, Edna Renyer, Pearl Johnson, and Irene Ryan.
Emma is survived by her two children, Lyle Dorr and wife, Marlene, of Burlingame, Kan., and Gail Stromgren, Osage City; four grandchildren, John Dorr, Maurene Brake, Stacey Snakenberg, and Spencer Stromgren; and six great-grandchildren.
Emma will be cremated and private family inurnment will take place in Osage City Cemetery. Feltner Funeral Home, Lyndon, is assisting the family. See feltnerfuneralhome.com.
