A group of the Lyndon Lions met Saturday morning, July 31, 2021, to begin a club environmental project, cleaning up along state Highway 268 from U.S. Highway 75 to California Road. The group picked up litter along one side of the highway for 1.5 miles before the weather became too hot to bear. The group plans to be out again when it is not so hot to finish the clean-up. The group was encouraged by a sweet lady who brought cold bottles of water and kind words and honks from passing cars.
