Bradley Padilla, 33, Carbondale: Oct. 17, 1987 – Sept. 6, 2021

CARBONDALE, Kan. – Bradley Joseph Padilla, 33, of Carbondale, Kan., died Monday, Sept. 6, 2021 at his home. He was born Oct. 12, 1987, in Topeka, Kan., the son of Louis Padilla and Tammy Harrison.

Brad graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School with the class of 2006. Brad worked as a salesman at Famous Footwear and a farmhand for Clint Lispcomb.

Brad enjoyed being outside, and he loved being a coach of either wrestling or baseball. He was also part of the Santa Fe Trail wresting club, the Trail Hands. He was a talented painter. He loved travelling and being with his family. He will be remembered by everyone as someone who always knew how to enjoy life.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Tammy Harrison, and maternal grandfather, Eugene Harrison.

He is survived by his father, Louis Padilla, Carbondale; two brothers, Martin and Travis Padilla, Carbondale; a sister, Lizza Padilla, Carbondale; maternal grandmother, Pat Harrison, Eureka, Kan.; paternal grandparents, Peter and Nina Mendoza, Carbondale; a nephew, Lil Marty Padilla, Carbondale; and a niece, Avery Padilla, Carbondale.

To celebrate Brad’s life, a funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Grace Community Church, 310 E. Eighth St., Overbrook, Kan. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will take place at a later date at Carbondale Cemetery.
