Lyndon welcomes fall with community festival

The Lyndon community is inviting all to help celebrate the coming of fall, with the Lyndon Fall Festival planned for Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021.

The day’s events start off with a drive-through biscuits and gravy breakfast at the old filling station on Topeka Avenue just down the street from the Osage County Courthouse, which will be the center of the festival events. Most activities get underway around 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. Crafts, food, and at-home businesses will be featured vendors for the day, which also includes live music by the Good Sam Band, kid’s activities, scarecrow contest, pumpkin decorating, cruise-in car show, cornhole tournament, vintage sweets contest, chili cookoff, and a car bash. Most events are free to enter.
