OCPR Update: Sign up for underway for youngsters’ basketball

OCPR-logo-redOsage City Parks and Recreation is accepting signups for K-ball and first and second grade basketball. These programs are for boys and girls and teach basketball fundamentals.

K-Ball
Pre-K & Kindergarten Basketball (Coed)

K-Ball is an instructional program for Pre-K and Kindergarten boys and girls. The program is designed to teach basketball fundamentals, shooting, passing, and dribbling.

  • Sundays, Jan. 9-Feb. 13 (skip Feb. 6).
  • 5-6 p.m. at Osage City MS/HS gyms.
  • Players receive a shirt and participation award.
  • $20 per player.

Signup deadline – Jan. 7


1st and 2nd Grade Basketball (Coed)

The program is designed to teach basketball fundamentals, shooting, passing, and dribbling, plus good sportsmanship through team practice and game play.

  • Sundays, Jan. 9-Feb. 13 (skip Feb. 6).
  • 6-7pm, Osage City ES/MS Gyms
  • Boys practice (ES Gym)
  • Girls practice (MS Gym)
  • Players receive a shirt and participation award.
  • $20 per player.

Signup deadline – Jan. 7
