Lesley Ann Berner, 43, Osage City: Nov. 14, 1978 – Jan. 1, 2022

OSAGE CITY, Kan. – Lesley Ann Berner, 43, passed away Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022, in an auto accident in Osage County. She was born Nov. 14, 1978, in Ottawa, Kan., the daughter of Larry and Laurie (Farwell) Rafferty.

Lesley grew up in Lyndon, Kan., and had lived in Osage City, Kan., since 2012.

Lesley graduated from Lyndon High School in 1997. She had worked for the Osage County Sheriff’s Department as a communications officer. She was currently working as a licensed practical nurse for Angels Care Home Health.

Lesley was married to Patrick Berner, Aug. 24, 2007, in Seattle, Wash.

Lesley was preceded in death by her father, Larry, April 28, 1980.

Lesley is survived by her husband, Patrick, of the home; son, Quentin Finan, Bellevue, Neb.; two daughters, Kyndra Finan, Bella Vista, Ark., and Taelynn Finan, Osage City; stepdaughter, Justine Berner, Topeka, Kan.; her mother, Laurie Bunker and husband, Jeff, Osage City; stepfather, Dahl Fry, Eskridge, Kan.; sisters, Katie Hoffman, Auburn, Kan., and Sarah Fry, Lawrence, Kan.; and two grandchildren, Raylyn Martin and Jace Farwell.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at Feltner Funeral Chapel, Lyndon. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Lyndon Cemetery.
