Austin Lee Dickson, 65, Topeka: Jan. 27, 1956 – Jan. 28, 2022

TOPEKA, Kan. – Austin Lee Dickson, 65, of Topeka, Kan., passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, at The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Hospital, Topeka. He was born Jan. 27, 1956, in Topeka, the son of William Austin Dickson and Bertha Mae (Gallagher) Dickson.

He grew up in Scranton, Kan., and graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School with the class of 1975. He served our country in the United States Army.

He married Beth Bryan. They later divorced.

Austin was a roofer, working at many different locations throughout his career. He was a member of the VFW, in Topeka.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving family includes his son, Andrew Dickson, of Topeka; sister, Sandy Dickson, Topeka; a brother, John William Dickson, of California; and a granddaughter, Georgia Dickson, Lawrence, Kan.

To celebrate Austin’s life, a private family inurnment at Auburn Cemetery, Auburn, Kan., will be at a later date.
