The second meeting of the coalition of Osage County historical societies will be 6 p.m. Feb. 23, at Carbondale Library.

The group was created to begin a collaborative union among groups interested in preserving the history of Osage County. Representatives from local historical societies and other such entities interested in creating public awareness of and preserving the history of our county are invited to attend. Topics will include events, volunteerism, displays, and others.
