QUENEMO, Kan. – Jimmy Wayne Hutchison, 64, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at his home in Quenemo, Kan. He was born Dec. 19, 1957, in Ottawa, Kan., the son of George and Mary Jo (Rose) Hutchison.

Jimmy had lived most of his life in the Quenemo community. He was a concrete worker in construction. He was a member of the Quenemo Baptist Church.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his son, Garrison Hutchison, on April 12, 1988; and his parents, George and Mary Jo.

Jimmy is survived by his three daughters, Rashawna Stripling, Samantha (Brian) Adams, and Trinity Hutchison; stepson, Kyle Norton; two brothers, Michael Hutchison and Darren Hutchison; three sisters, Cheryl Alexander, Debra Anderson, and Linda Wendt; seven grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life for Jimmy will be 6 p.m. Friday, March 18, at Quenemo Baptist Church, 203 S. Fifth St., Quenemo, with Pastor Jeff Moore leading. Inurnment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.
