BURLINGAME, Kan. – Dennis “D Boy” A. Blodgett, 68, Burlingame, Kan., passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at his home. D was born Oct. 9, 1953, in Topeka, Kan., the son of Hugh and Edith (Wilson) Blodgett.

He graduated from Dover High School, Dover, Kan.

He married Debbie Vandagriff; they later divorced.

He worked as a lineman for the Local Union No. 304. He worked for Par Electric and Tiedes Line Construction. D enjoyed the rodeo and horses.

D is survived by two sons, Jason (Callie) and Del Blodgett, all of Harveyville, Kan.; two brothers, “J Boy” Blodgett, Dover, and Zane Blodgett, Kansas City; sister, Bettyloue Blodgett, of Colorado; granddaughter, Jayden; and stepgrandson, Trevin.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 18, at the Valencia Cemetery, west of Topeka. Condolences can be left at www.davidsonfuneral.com.
