Harry Michael “Mike” Prim, 65, Overbrook: Feb. 28, 1957 – April 23, 2022

OVERBROOK, Kan. – Harry Michael “Mike” Prim, 65, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022, at his home south of Overbrook, Kan. He was born Feb. 28, 1957, in Topeka, Kan., the son of Harry and Ruby (York) Prim.

Mike had lived all of his life around the Overbrook community.

Mike was born to be a farmer and cattleman, and that is what he did throughout his life. He had worked for the Overbrook Livestock Commission for more than 40 years.

Mike was married to Kathy Robinson, May 19, 2014, in Ottawa, Kan.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ruby.

Mike is survived by his wife, Kathy, of the home; son, Michael Prim, Overbrook; daughter, Aubrie Ramsieser, Topeka, Kan.; stepson, Joshua Barrett, Baldwin City, Kan.; stepdaughter, Tina Trout, Overbrook; sister, Patty Cooper, Carbondale, Kan.; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life for Mike will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at the American Legion Post, Overbrook.
