Recent Osage County Sheriff’s Office reports:

At 9:55 p.m. Nov. 29, 2022, an Osage County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop near milepost 165 on Interstate 35 for a traffic violation. During the stop, narcotics were located. The driver of the vehicle, Nathan W. Rodriguez, 30, of Emporia, Kan., was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute; criminal possession of a firearm by a felon; criminal use of a weapon; possession of drug paraphernalia; no drug tax stamp; possession of marijuana.
