COTTONWOOD FALLS, Kan. – Christopher J. Rudd, 25, passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, in Cottonwood Falls, Kan. He was born Feb. 5, 1997, in Topeka, Kan., the son of Jethro Fuqua and Tricia Rudd.

Christopher graduated from Ottawa High School in 2015. He was employed as a team leader at Walmart, in Ottawa, Kan. He enjoyed the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas Jayhawks.

He is survived by his mother, Tricia (Morgan, his dad) Duncan, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; his father, Jay Fuqua, Cottonwood Falls; two daughters, Ava and Melanie Rudd, Ottawa; a sister, Kirsten Evans, Broken Arrow; two brothers, Patrick Rudd, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Dax Fuqua, Topeka; maternal grandmother, Pamela Rudd, Osage City, Kan.; paternal grandmother, Cindy Fuqua, Cottonwood Falls; step-grandparents, Richard and Sherry Duncan, Bonner Springs, Kan.; and a grandmother, Nancy Evans, of Nebraska.

Christopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Edward Fuqua; grandfather, David Evans; and a cousin, Kiffany Mietchen.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, Osage City. Family will receive friends an hour before service. Cremation is to take place after service.
