Debbie Louise Booth, 61, Melvern: Oct. 20, 1961 – May 3, 2023

MELVERN, Kan. – Debbie Louise Booth, 61, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at her home south of Melvern, Kan. She was born Oct. 20, 1961, in Topeka, Kan., the daughter of Larncie and Geneva (Benton) Booth.

Debbie grew up in Carbondale, Kan., and had lived there until moving to Melvern.

Debbie worked as a veteran’s benefits agent for the Veterans Administration for the last 12 years.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Larncie and Geneva; and her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Cindy Booth.

Debbie is survived by her four children and 11 grandchildren, Jessica (Mike) Galvan, of Elkhorn, Neb., and Samantha, Savannah, Sophia, Sydney, Shaun and Brody; Tonya (Jacob) Summers, Ft. Scott, Kan., and Noah, Shayla, Tyson and Brendan; Michael (Megan) McGrew, Olivet, Kan., and Waylon; and William Booth, Lyndon, Kan.; great-grandson, Harrison; and two brothers, Allen (Joyce) Rich, Auburn, Kan., and Bobby (Wilma) Booth, Harveyville, Kan.

Graveside memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 11, at the Carbondale Cemetery, Carbondale. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Feltner Funeral Chapel, Lyndon.
