The two lucky winners of Osage County News’ first viewer appreciation contest were notified this morning and their tickets were delivered by noon so they can start planning for next weekend’s Flatlands Music Festival shows.

Holly Jones, of Lyndon, was a winner of Osage County News’ viewer appreciation contest – two tickets to one day of music at the Flatlands Music Festival, in Kansas City, was her prize.

The winners are Holly Jones, of Lyndon, and Sheri Anderson, of Quenemo, with each winning two tickets to one day of music at the Flatlands Music Festival, at Kansas City next Friday or Saturday. Osage County News offers congratulations to both winners and thanks to all who entered the viewer appreciation promotion.

The contest was held to celebrate more than six months of operation of the new website, www.osagecountyonline.com, that reports news about Osage County, and to show appreciation for the support from its steadily building viewership.

The winners of the contest were selected in random drawings of all email entries received before the deadline of 6 a.m. this morning.

The Flatlands Country Music Festival runs Sept. 12-14 at Sporting Park, Kansas City, Kan. Unfortunately, Osage County News could not get tickets for all of its viewers to the Flatlands Music Festival, but Thursday, Sept. 12, is a free show day with headliner Charlie Daniels Band. We got it worked out that all y’all are welcome to attend that day, too.
