Osage County Sheriff’s reports:

At 12:52 a.m. July 25, 2023, an Osage County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop at milepost 144 on U.S. Highway 75 Highway, near Carbondale. During the stop, illegal narcotics were located. Two subjects in the vehicle were taken into custody. Crystal M. Watson, 43, of Eastland, Texas, was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Danielle J. Pennington, 47, of Gatesville, Texas, was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office and Topeka Police Department assisted Osage County Sheriff’s Office in the arrests.

At 3:52 a.m. July 29, 2023, an Osage County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop at milepost 165 on Interstate 35, near Melvern, for a traffic violation. During the stop, illegal narcotics were located. The driver of the vehicle, John M. Titsworth, 59, of Arizona City, AZ, was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and no drug tax stamp.
