Sheriff’s reports:
At 11:35 a.m. Sept. 18, 2023, an Osage County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop at milepost 158 on Interstate 35 for a traffic violation. During the stop, illegal narcotics were located. The driver of the vehicle, Cameron M. Tolsdorf, 42, Grandview, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, interference with law enforcement, no registration, driving without a driver’s license, and an arrest warrant. The Osage County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Coffey County Sheriff’s Office and Kansas Highway Patrol.
At 1:22 a.m. Sept. 19, 2023, an Osage County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop at milepost 141 on U.S. Highway 75, near Carbondale, for a traffic violation. During the stop, illegal narcotics were located. The driver of the vehicle, Michael S. Brumbaugh, 52, Osage City, was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine and interference with a law enforcement officer.
At 10:45 p.m. Sept. 24, 2023, an Osage County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to investigate a suspicious vehicle at the Casey’s General Store, 105 S. Topeka Ave., Carbondale. During contact with the reported vehicle and occupants, illegal narcotics were located. An occupant of the vehicle, Casey L. Kinney, 43, of Burlingame, was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal use of weapons.
