OCPR Update: Osage City youth basketball tips off for fall

Osage City Parks and Recreation has announced upcoming youth basketball for third grade to sixth grade boys and girls. Signup deadline is Nov. 6, 2023.

Youth Basketball
3rd-6th Grade Boys and Girls

OCPR teams participate in the Scott Brown Youth Basketball League. League divisions are single grades 3rd-6th grade for boys and girls.

Team practice can begin the week of Nov. 27, if a head coach has been assigned.

SBBL Season (3rd, 4th, 5th grades), Saturdays, Jan. 6-Feb. 17, 2024.
SBBL Season (6th grade), Saturdays, Jan. 20-Feb. 17, 2024.
SBBL League Divisional Tournaments, Feb. 24, 2024.
OCPR players receive a team uniform (jersey and shorts). Uniform is to be returned at the end of the season.
Cost $30.
Signup deadline, Nov. 6.
Forms will not be accepted after Nov. 8.

OCPR coach-player discount available and OCPR scholarship forms available.

OCPR Basketball, K-Ball and 1st/2nd grade information will be available in December.

Signup forms are available at Osage City Hall, sent through the Osage City Elementary School (when school starts), online at www.osagecity.com (click Departments and Parks and Recreation), and in the Photos Section of the Osage City Facebook Page.
