Bonnie Rose Parker, 65, of Burlingame, Kan., passed away Oct. 4, 2023, at University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan. Bonnie was born July 7, 1958, the daughter of Harry Miller and Theresa (Meyers) Miller, in Kansas City, Mo.
She grew up in the Kansas City, Mo., area, attending Park Hill Schools.
Bonnie operated her family business, Lazy M Trailer Court, in Kansas City, Mo., for many years. She was also a chef in Kansas City for a number of years.
Bonnie loved to play bingo with her family and friends. She loved cooking for family and eating out. She never missed an opportunity to go shopping. She was a dachshund dog breeder for many years and loved her dogs dearly. Her husband, Mike, was a very important part of her life and she was always glad to be by his side.
On March 4, 1983, Bonnie was united in marriage to Michael Parker, in Kansas City, Mo. They shared nearly 40 wonderful years together.
Bonnie was also preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Robert Miller.
She is survived by four sisters, Melanie Walker, Independence, Mo., Sandra Walker, Northmoor, Mo., Carol Ann Spencer and her husband, David, Kansas City, Mo., and Nancy Buntzman, Tucson, Ariz.; a special niece, Tiffani Miller, and special nephew, Nicholas Hendrix, both of Independence; and numerous other nieces nephews and cousins.
Graveside funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at Ramskill Chapel, Burlingame Cemetery, Burlingame. The family will greet friends for a visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, 503 S. Topeka Ave., Burlingame.
