Willing Workers 4-H Club member Claire Newman is making her mark in her third year of 4-H, showcasing her passion for rabbits. This year, Claire participated in multiple 4-H projects, including showing goats, poultry, rabbits, photography, and geology. However, her love for the rabbit project truly stood out.
Claire not only showcased her rabbits but also delivered informative talks on them for Country Club Days and regionals. She had the incredible opportunity to represent her club, the Willing Workers, at the Kansas State Fair.
Her project presentation focused on the various rabbit breeds recognized by the American Rabbit Breeders Association and the standards set for perfect show rabbits. Claire’s dedication and knowledge earned her a purple ribbon for her project talk, highlighting her expertise and commitment to the rabbit project.
Congratulations to Claire for her impressive accomplishments in 4-H and for representing her club and state with pride!
