My name is Avery Thielen and I was a member and secretary of the Willing Workers 4-H club, and this was my sixth year in 4-H.
This year I was in the swine, beef, buymanship, photography and gardening projects.
Showing my market steer was very rewarding. He earned third overall market beef at the Overbrook Osage County Fair.
My favorite part of being in 4-H is teaching younger members new skills. I learned that even though you don’t win and succeed all the time you still learn something from the 4-H experience.
