Burlingame 4-H Club member Karley Lowry, has been in 4-H for five years. She currently serves her club as a county council representative.
Projects enrolled in for this year’s fairs included horses, in which she earned intermediate showman at both local fairs, and seventh in pole bending and flag race at the Kansas State Fair; meat goats, fifth overall market goat, fourth overall breeding goat; poultry, blue and red; and cooking, blue at both fairs
Favorite projects were goats and horses, and favorite part of being in 4-H was “winning intermediate round robin showmanship at Overbrook Fair!”
Important thing learned from being in 4-H: “To help others when you can!”
