The Osage City Chamber of Commerce has announced winners of Christmas on Market Street activities, the Jingle Bell 5K Run/Walk, and other ongoing holiday fun in the Osage City business district.

Holiday Window Decorating

With the theme “Whoville Christmas” this year, several Osage City businesses participated in the holiday window decorating contest and had some creative window scenes. Driving through downtown, the business district looks very festive with the decorated windows, buildings outlined with lights, hanging baskets and the hanging holiday decorations.

The Chamber of Commerce takes pride in decorating the Santa Fe Depot area with pallet-constructed Christmas trees, a JOY nativity scene, greenery around the sign and a “Season’s Greetings” banner on the fence.

The Twin Lakes Cruisers car group also enjoyed contributing to the festive season, decorating their car lot with pallet Christmas trees, a nativity scene, and “Holiday Greetings” banner with pictures of the group’s personal vehicles.

Winners of the window decorating contest were Meadowlark Interiors, $50; Ramblin’ Rose, $40; and McCoy’s RadioShack, $30.
