The church season of Lent is coming up and the Osage City Ministerial Alliance is hosting a Fat Tuesday-Shrove Tuesday Pancake Feast, 5-7 p.m. March 4, 2025. The community is invited to join for a pancake, sausage, coffee, and juice dinner at the Osage City Community Building, 517 S. First St., Osage City, Kan.
This is a mission of the churches in Osage City, so there is no charge for the meal, but any donations received will be given to the Warmth Fund and ECAT.
Traditionally in the Christian faith, we eat rich foods the day before Ash Wednesday, which is the beginning of Lent. During Lent we remember the sacrifice of Jesus’ death on the cross for our salvation. We hope you will join us for a fun dinner.
