Osage County HAY Club members met in September at Melvern Lake for a Cowboy Camp; from left, Allie Houston, project leader Dorothy Christiason, Bonnie Young, Alexis Studebaker, Alyssa Hogelin, and Ethan Quaney.
During the Osage County HAY (Horses and Youth) Club “Cowboy Camp” Sept. 7 at the Melvern Lake, members held their monthly meeting, rode on trails, and enjoyed a potluck supper.
The HAY Club has scheduled another club meeting and trail ride at 1 p.m., Oct. 20, at 110-Mile Park at Pomona Lake. This is the first meeting of the new 4-H year.
Project leader Dorothy Christiason will have enrollment cards if needed, and anyone interested in the HAY Club is invited to attend. Members are encouraged to bring guests.
The trail ride begins at 2 p.m., and riders and others will enjoy a potluck supper upon returning. Everyone is asked to bring a dish.
