OVERBROOK, Kan. – Sandra Kay Vaughn, 66, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital, Topeka, Kan. She was born Sept. 1, 1958, in Topeka, the daughter of Walter “Buck” and Mildred (Schneider) Vaughn.
Sandra had lived all of her life in the Overbrook, Kan., community and graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School in 1977.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mildred; and an infant brother, Steven.
Sandra is survived by her three sisters, Virginia Vaughn, Overbrook, Sharon Westmoreland, Wellington, Kan., and Janet Terrones, Olathe, Kan.; two brothers, Walter (Debbie) Vaughn, Carbondale, Kan., and Wayne (Sharyn) Vaughn, Topeka; and several nieces and nieces.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at Overbrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Feltner Funeral Chapel, Lyndon.
