Get ready to roll! Cyclists and walkers alike are gearing up for the return of a favorite 4th of July event, Hometown Gravel Grind, which takes place at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2025.
In its annual run, the Hometown Gravel Grind features two main events: a 16-mile bike ride through scenic rural routes and a 5K walk, making it accessible to participants of all ages.
Organized by Coffey County Library-Lebo Branch, the event is a fundraiser to help future programming for all ages.
Riders and walkers are encouraged to sign up in advance to purchase an event T-shirt; however, registration is also available on the day of the race. Registration opens at 6:30 p.m. Registration forms are available at any Coffey County Library, Lebo City Hall, or the Lebo Post Office.
For more information, contact the Lebo Branch, 327 Ogden, Lebo, Kan., or call 620-256-6452.
