Greetings to all!
We are collecting coats this month for our Coat Closet. If you know of anyone in need of a winter coat, please have them come by and shop during this special time of coat giving-away.
The Harvester’s Mobile pantry has cancelled the following: Burlingame, Carbondale, and Osage City/ECAT. Remaining locations for Osage County are Lyndon and Melvern.
Households served in September:
- Help House, 169
- Carbondale mobile, 84
- Lyndon mobile, 214
We have special opportunities for our high school seniors and first-year college youth to volunteer. We ask for only three hours a day to spend your time in a fun environment. Volunteers may have the possibility of achieving a $500 college grant.
Help House hours of operation are: 4-7 p.m. Monday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Come and check us out or call 785-828-4888 for more information.
It is our blessing to be able to provide the needs of Osage County residents and neighbors. We sure could use items to prepare our school children for the winter, such as socks, underwear, stocking caps, gloves, and hoodies.
The need for household and personal hygiene items is always needed, such as shampoo, bath soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, laundry soap, dish soap, band-aids, tissues, and paper towels.
We accept cash donations, which aid in a variety of items that are not always available without your help.
Thank you again for your continual support.
May God’s grace be with you,
Karla Harding, Help House
