OSAGE CITY, Kan. – Travis Lee Samson, 39, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka, Kan. He was born March 18, 1986, in Polson, Mont., the only son of Allen and Jacqueline (Roach) Samson.
Travis served in the United States Army for 11 years and was discharged at the rank of staff sergeant. He was a member of the Life Church, Wichita, Kan.
Travis was one of a kind. He was intelligent, funny, witty, creative and compassionate. To know him was to love him. His deep love for the Lord and his family was undeniable. His children meant the world to him and were his greatest joy. Travis had a passion for music and was gifted with the ability to serenade his family with his guitar. He was an avid reader and artist with a love for science and philosophy. Travis was often seen sporting his Philadelphia Eagles gear as their number one fan! Go Eagles! His passing weighs heavily on our hearts as he was taken too soon. Gone, but never forgotten and dearly missed.
Travis was preceded in death by his father, Allen; maternal grandfather, Leland Roach; and paternal grandparents, Fred and Shirley Samson.
