TOPEKA, Kan. – Tammy G. Moon, 66, passed away Nov 28, 2025, at her home in Topeka, Kan. She was born Aug. 27, 1959, to Glenn and Betty Moon.
Tammy spent most of her life in Topeka.
She married Harvey Slover, Aug. 11, 1979; they later divorced. They had two children, Zackery and Lara Slover.
Tammy was proceeded in death by her father, Glenn Moon; stepmother, Kay Moon; stepfather, Galen Boyd; four sisters, Sherry and Carrie Moon, Melody Lowry and Tracy Shirley; three brothers, Christopher Boyd, Scott Boyd, and Patrick Moon.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Boyd, of Osage City, Kan.; daughter, Lara Slover; son, Zackery Slover (Tish); seven grandchildren, Nick, Chase, Dravin (Brittany) Malaki, Jordan, Jeremiah and Isaac, and three great grandchildren, all of Topeka; brothers, Rickey Moon and James Boyd, both of Topeka; sister, Lara Lin, Carson, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
Tammy’s wishes were to be cremated. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
