“Jesus is the reason for the season,” said Osage City resident Adam Burnett, and also the reason for his family’s annual “Amped Up for Christmas” musical light show at their home at 14th and E Street.
“Celebrate Jesus Christ’s birthday and enhance your holiday spirit through thousands of lights set to music,” Burnett said. “Pull to the side of the street, turn off your headlights, tune to 91.3 and enjoy the show!”
The show began in November and will run 5-9 p.m. weeknights and 5-10 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, through Jan. 4.
As part of the show, a food drive will benefit local organizations ECAT and Help House. Non-perishable food items can be placed in the donation bin at the end of the driveway.
While watching the show, spectators can help choose which songs will play by visiting the website https://ampedupchristmaslights.remotefalcon.com/remote-falcon. More information is a available on the “Amped Up for Christmas” Facebook page.
