Osage City Parks and Recreation has scheduled dance camp and wrestling camp to begin in October:

OCPR DANCE CAMP

–Camp dates – Oct. 28, Nov. 6, 13, 20

–Camp time – 6:30-8 p.m.

–Camp grade divisions – Pre-K and kindergarten, 1st/2nd grade, 3rd-8th grade

–Dance recital – Nov 23, OCHS Auditorium

–Camp instructors – Amie Lohmeyer and the OCHS Dance Team

–Cost, $30 per dancer

—Fee includes a skirt/shirt (depending on the dancer’s grade) for the recital

–Dancers will learn dance technique and two routines for the recital

–Recommended practice clothes – shorts/sweats, sneakers, socks, t-shirt, no jeans!

WRESTLING CAMP

–OCPR and the Osage City Wrestling Club are offering a wrestling camp for boys and girls ages 4-18.

—Wrestlers must have turned age 4 by Aug. 31, 2013

–Camp dates – Oct. 22, 23, 24, 25

–Beginner’s practice (5-6 p.m.) and advanced practice (6-7 p.m.)

–Camp location – OCPR Building

–Camp coordinator – Jamy Dunbar (Osage City Wrestling Club head coach)

–Wrestlers need to wear comfortable clothes for the camp, a t-shirt or sweat shirt, shorts or sweats, and wrestling shoes or socked feet on the mat. Wrestlers will receive a camp shirt.
