OSAGE CITY, Kan. – Tony Lee Murphy passed away Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025. He was born April 3, 1969, in Albany, Mo., to Larry Murphy and Bonnie (Lucas) Jackson.
Tony worked in the deli at White’s Foodliner, and also served as a cook at the Iron Rail Bar and Grill. In his free time, he loved being outdoors, especially mushroom hunting, which brought him great joy.
Tony is survived by his mother, Bonnie Jackson; stepfather, Marlon Jackson; sisters, Shannon Williams and Carrie Swaine; stepchildren, Travis and Jared Beer; and two nieces and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Murphy, and his wife, Melody Beer.
Visitation is will be 2-4 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2026, at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N. Sixth St., Osage City, KS 66523.
