OVERBROOK, Kan. – Gail Victoria Sell, 68, passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, in her home at Overbrook, Kan. She was born June 7, 1957, in Topeka, Kan., the daughter of Joe and Betty (Haines) Florence.
Gail grew up in Topeka, and attended Topeka High School. She had lived in Lenexa, Kan. for several years before moving to Overbrook three years ago.
Gail worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield in customer service, and when she retired she was a drug coordinator.
Gail was preceded in death by her father, Joe Florence; stepfather, George Doss; and brother, Scott Florence.
Gail is survived by her two sons, Tim Sell and Logan Sell; her daughter, Deja Sell; mother, Betty Doss Childress; brother, Marion Doss III; seven sisters, Becky Florence, Sally DeBarge, Debbie (Rob) Gloss, Jenny (Bob) Klingler, Barbie (Antonio) Reyes, Jody Starforth, Ashley (Joe) Michaelis; four grandchildren, Corinne Sell, Sophia Harris, Roland Sell and Riker Sell; and other relatives and friends.
A family visitation and service will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Grace Community Church, 310 E. Eighth St., Overbrook.
