The BNSF Railroad will close its crossing on state Highway 170 east of Reading in Osage County for repair work next week. The roadway will be fully closed at the railroad crossing from approximately 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2026, until 5 p.m. Thursday, May 28, conditions permitting.
During the closure, motorists can follow the signed detour on state Highway 99 and U.S. Highway 56 or find an appropriate alternative route.
