Daniel Isaiah Payne, 4 months old, was cradled into his Lord’s hands Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013. The son of Adam and Kristin Payne, Daniel was born June 9, 2013, in Topeka.

Daniel, a graduate of the Stormont Vail NICU department, had the heart and soul of a lion. Daniel loved to laugh, go to the zoo, and cheer on the Chiefs with mom and dad every week.

Daniel is survived by his parents Adam and Kristin Payne, of Topeka; grandparents, Rick and Lisa Payne, Chanute, and Jeff and Christina Payne, Scranton; great grandparents, Charles and Nicky Matson, Topeka; and many aunts and uncles.

Through the grace of angels above Daniel was cremated and tissue was donated to Midwest Transplant so that others may live through him. A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2013 at Fellowship Bible Church, Topeka.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at Silver Lake Bank, 2100 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614, in the parent’s names. A portion of the funds will be donated to the SIDS foundation.
