Kansas Department of Transportation has issued a traffic alert for the ongoing U.S. Highway 75 resurfacing project. Between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. today, Nov. 19, northbound U.S. 75 traffic from U.S. Highway 56 to Topeka Boulevard will be switched from the left passing lane to the right driving lane in Osage and Shawnee counties.

Crews will complete bridge approach tapers and pavement markings in the passing lane. The U.S. 75 project will then be suspended sometime in the next week or two until spring 2014 for project completion.
