Melvern was lit with holiday spirit Saturday night during a community gift-giving celebration that included hot dogs, hot chocolate and Christmas cookies made with love. The town was even on Santa’s pre-Christmas Eve itinerary as he travels town to town checking his naughty or nice list.
Santa visits with some nice children about their Christmas lists while parents take photos. Local donors and volunteers arranged for a gift or goodies to be given to about every kid present at the celebration, with a free drawing.
Live music at Legends and a community holiday celebration at the community center filled downtown parking at Melvern Saturday night.
Hot dogs by the pan full were given out to a packed Melvern Community Center during Saturday night’s holiday season celebration.
