Patrol reports Thanksgiving holiday weekend activity

The Kansas Highway Patrol released its Thanksgiving holiday activity. The reporting period for the holiday weekend ran from 6 p.m. Nov. 27, through 11:59 p.m. Dec. 1.

During that time, the Patrol worked two fatal crashes, which resulted in two deaths. Neither of the fatal crashes were DUI-related.

Information in the table is compared to the Thanksgiving holiday periods since 2010. All had similar reporting periods, from 6 p.m. the Wednesday prior to the holiday, through the Sunday following the Thanksgiving holiday.
